About Our Founder

Hello! I’m Alicia Nickolenko, Founder & CEO of Apexx Ascent.

We’re a women’s talent and creative studio elevating athletes, brands, and creatives through impactful storytelling. Our work spans talent representation, creative direction, and media production. We are deeply committed to elevating women’s voices and ensuring they’re valued — creatively and financially.

Before founding Apexx, I led business development efforts for global life science companies, negotiating high-value contracts and supporting the development of cutting-edge biotechnologies.

With a degree in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and cancer research experience, science shaped how I think — analytically, strategically, and with attention to detail. I apply that same approach today when structuring partnerships and leading creative projects.

As a lifelong athlete and former collegiate ice hockey player, I bring the same drive, competitiveness, and commitment to excellence to my work that I respect in the athletes I represent.

These days, I’m happiest surfing, scuba diving, and building a life around movement, creativity, and adventure.
